I visited the Norman Petty Recording Studios in Clovis, New Mexico on Oct. 17, 2007. Buddy Holly and the Crickets are among the many musicians who recorded here in the 1950s and 1960s. Thanks to studio manager Ken Broad and his wife for their hospitality.

As a lifelong member of the Clovis community, I had the great priveledge of knowing Vi Petty. My mom often regales us with stories of the "noise" that buddy and his band used to make...It is great to see this web site dedicated to the pioneers that opened so many doors for R&R and the music industry.
